227,000 US people to work in January, What Because Trump?

Absorption of labor in the United States (US) in January 2016 reached 227,000 after the inauguration of Donald Trump as president. Earlier, in December, the absorption of labor in the US reached 157,000 people.

The number of unemployed in the US had increased by 4.8% and the US started a lot of people start looking for work again. So as to encourage more low number of unemployed in the US.

This is the first report to be released under the leadership of Trump. However, the Ministry of Labour conducted this survey in the second week of January when President Barack Obama still in the White House.

This report represents at the same time the economy began to turn to the leadership Trump.

"President Trump inherited economy in the hope of absorbing the entire workforce in the US, but there is still much work to be done," said Elise Gould, an economist at the Economic Policy Institute as quoted by CNN, Sunday (02/05/2017) ,

On the other hand, this report as well as a debate because the President Trump once dubbed the 'con' in displaying the unemployment data. The labor and various parties are also critical of the data.

Despite the employment is fairly good, Trump also inherit the problem of employment in the US. Underemployment rate aka people who work but is not considered self-sufficient, the number of unemployed plus those working part-time. This figure rose in January to 9.4% from 9.2% in December.

However, the figure is likely to go down in the last year. However, there are 5.8 million Americans working part-time but want full-time work or full time.

The quality of work is something else, like the US absorbs more than 76,000 workers in the retail and restaurant in January. The workforce in this sector tend to be those with low skills and are paid low wages.

On the other hand, the US economy also turned out to be gained by increasing wages. The construction sector accounted for 36,000 workers, financial services 32,000 new workers, and health services there are 18,000 new jobs.

Meanwhile, the manufacturing sector to absorb more workers in January. Some people see hope under the leadership of Trump.

"Employment in the manufacturing sector will experience more demand. The sector will focus on a lot of work," said Edward Fleischman, Group CEO ExecuSearch.

This also realization Trump campaign promise to create 25 million new jobs in the next 10 years.

Banyk economists say, Trump will be challenged to provide employment to the already low unemployment rate and economic growth is still slow. On the other hand, plans to cut taxes and spend huge funds for infrastructure development can also absorb more labor and increase economic growth.

No signal wage increases in the US where growth of 2.5% in January compared to last year, and this is a continuation.

"With the unemployment rate so low and very few unemployed looking for a job, it becomes increasingly difficult for job seekers to find work, and this can increase wages," Luke Tilley, chief economist at Wilmington Trust.
