Eight renewable energy infrastructure projects, which was inaugurated
in eastern Indonesia is expected to support the electricity needs of the
local community.
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Sudirman Said said the
entire Solar Power Plant (PLTS) The use of solar module production in
the country.
Overall EBT infrastructure will generate a power of 1,295 kW and is
able to save on the use of diesel fuel up to Rp2.99 billion per year.
"In the islands or the most remote regions which are very difficult to
reach with diesel, we hasten development of renewable energy
generation," Sudirman said during the inauguration of PLTS Hybrid in
Morotai, Tuesday (05/04/2016).
All 8 EBT is part of the energy infrastructure projects have been
built in 2015 with a total capacity of 10.7 MW in 174 locations.
In 2016, the Ministry of Energy plans to build more renewable energy
PLT at 131 locations with a capacity of approximately 31 MW.
Moreover, the government has committed and is realizing the supply of electricity by 35 thousand Megawatts (MW). As many as 25% of the target, or about 8,800 MW expected to come from renewable energy.
"This is indeed a huge amount, but the benefits for the community in
the area of the island, outermost and isolated is very big," he said.
President Joko Widodo asked the local government to support the
development of regional electricity one by deregulating licensing
burdensome.
Currently, he said the power plant construction permits have been simplified from 59 to 22 licenses.
"But it still takes up to 255 days. It's been better earlier could be
4-6 years, but the United Arab Emirates alone mismanagement permit only
one day," he explained.
In addition to encouraging deregulation, the President also called on all parties to settle regarding land acquisition.
PLTS PLTS Hybrid is unveiled is 350 kW at Wawama Village, District of South Morotai, North Maluku.
PLTS will support PLT Daruba Diesel, which is already serving
electricity to the community in the capital city of this Morotai Island.
On the island of Morotai, there are 12 123 households, but there are
at least 3,917 households that do not have access to electricity and
have not been reached by PLN.
Seventh other infrastructure built with similar patterns are:
1. PLTS Hybrid 100 kw in Adaut Village, District selaru, Maluku. PLTS
province is very helpful to stimulate the economy in communities in the
village Adaut selaru, West Southeast Maluku.
2. PLTS Hybrid 250 kw in Tutukembong Village, District Nirunmas, West Southeast Maluku district, Maluku Province.
3. PLTS Hybrid 100 kw in Bomaki Village, District of South Tanimbar Island, Maluku.
4. Centralized 15 kw solar power in the village of Kampung Harapan Jaya, District of South Misool, West
5. Papua. This is a Centralized PLTS PLTS Off-Grid that power an electric remote villages that have never been served before electricity. This solar power can provide electricity for 92 homes.
6. MHP 280 kw in the village Temel, District Ayamaru Jaya, West Papua. MHP can provide electricity for 124 connections consisting of 114
houses and 8 public facilities are health centers, schools, churches,
office district and village offices.
6. PLTS Hybrid 100 kw in Waropko Village, District Waropko, Papua. PLTS which was built in the border areas of Indonesia with Papua New Guinea aims to support built diesel PLN.
7. PLTS Hybrid 100 kw in the village of Kampung Sota, District Sota, Papua. PLTS is also built in the village forefront of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Together with diesel built by PLN, this solar power can provide electricity 24 hours to 358 homes.
