On the other hand, said Budianta, BBI producing hoe with raw materials supplied steel PT Krakatau Steel Tbk (KRAS) that are more expensive.
"Clearly we are losing competitiveness hoe in the price. Iron us from KS (Krakatau Steel), while iron hoes China's all because of excess production. Cangkul us in 2000 the price of Rp 13000-14000 per fruit, has China only Rp 9,000 per piece," he said ,
Instead of losing money, BBI was eventually discontinued the hoe at the time.
"In terms of quality hoe us better, we are without welding, iron also qualified, far better than has China, only to lose in price. We can output again if there is a lot of demand," concluded Budianta
